Parmesan crusted salmon

If you do not have a local place to pick up seafood, our Publix has a fantastic seafood counter and great prices.

This gorgeous hunk of salmon was only $8 and enough to feed 2-3 people in my house. This recipe is based on fresh and defrosted, not frozen, salmon.

Additionally, as you can see, my salmon fillet is not a huge thick piece- but rather a nice fillet. Some salmons are 2-3 inches high, and that could easily adjust your cooking times.

The great thing about using the Foodi, is you can lift and look under the lid at the 10 minute mark and add time if you need to.

  • Fresh Salmon (approximately 1 pound fillet fits in a 6.5 quart Ninja Foodie Air Crisp basket)

Parmesan Dill Topping

A perfect blend of my custom Parmesan topping crisps the top of your salmon in the foodi and without the heaviness of actual panko or bread crumbs.

The blend of mayo, shredded parm, and spices, once put in the air fryer, make a perfect topping that browns right on the top.

You won’t even miss a typical fried crust. In fact, I am sure once you make this simple salmon, you will be craving it constantly.

Coincidentally, this Parmesan crust recipe can be added to baked chicken as well!

If you love cooking with seafood, both of those are great.
